What Does the Health Station Do?

Health Station

 allows employees at participating locations to monitor essential biometric measurements such as weight, blood pressure, and pulse whenever they desire. The Health Station is internet enabled, allowing users to view measurements from previous visits and monitor their personal health trends. By constantly monitoring these measurements, users are inspired to pay closer attention to the needs of their bodies which results in greater weight loss and improved well being.

Instant Online Videos Available.

The Kersh Health Station provides employees with instant access to a variety of online videos for an array of medical conditions. These resources allow employees to learn about health issues that interest them.

Touch Screen MYKAMUNITY Access.

The Health Station acts as a docking station for the KAM, enabling employees to upload their activity data to the MyKAMunity website. Through the station’s touch screen interface, the user can then explore the MyKAMunity site. This is especially beneficial to employees who lack regular access to personal computers. The Health Station is an excellent visual reminder of a company ’s dedication to worksite wellness. It is a powerful intervention tool that challenges employees to make lifestyle changes that contribute to the employee’s health and the company’s bottom line.

Touch Screen to Start

Using the Health Station is easy! Literally, touch the screen to start.

Logging In

How do you log in? There are two ways to log in. Members can either dock their KAM to login or enter their KID #.

Welcome Screen

The first page that a member will see when they log in is the Welcome Screen. This screen loads the member’s profile colors and background. The screen also shows the username and picture of the person, (if they have taken one). Members can change their username or take a new picture using the Health Station’s web cam.

Weight

The Health Station has a weight scale built into the seat of the Health Station. Members first place their feet on the footrest and then press “Start” to begin measuring their weight.

Blood Pressure

The Health Station also has a built-in blood pressure cuff. This cuff measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as pulse. Monitoring blood pressure over time is key to maintaining a healthy heart.
